Product Summary

The ADM242ARZ is a member of high speed RS-232 line driver/receiver offering transmission rates up to200 kB/s. Operating from a single +5V power supply, a highly efficient on-chip charge pump using small (0.1μF) external capacitors allows ADM242ARZ bipolar levels to be developed. The ADM242ARZ is fabricated on BiCMOS, an advanced mixed technology process which combines low power CMOS with high speed bipolar circuitry. Applications of the ADM242ARZ inlcude: Computers, Peripherals, Modems, Printers, Instruments.
