The MC33340DR2 is a monolithic control IC. The device is specifically designed as fast charge controllers for Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. The MC33340DR2 features negative slope voltage detection as the primary means for fast charge termination.
